Today !

Coming to terms with ‘adulting’, the one thing that hit me really hard was that ‘adulting’ is no joke ! Duh ! not really…this is something we all know and have already hyped a lot. But not again, rather I have something very simple to drive your attention upon.

So often everyday we keep deciding on things, events and sometimes even on the decision of deciding itself. That I’m gonna do this someday or one fine day on so and so time and from from then on everything will fall into place. But honestly, it won’t.

Because they somehow are the changes happening now, every moment and you got to be in sync with it. By making the changes exactly when it hits you because life doesn’t get better altogether, it gets beautiful bit by bit.

I by no means want to justify the ever cited quote of acting then and there, now or never. Take your time, as much as you want but when you feel like “I need flowers for my balcony, I’ll also light up my reading corner and oh yes the book shelf too but oh no..this place is not good enough to start with a better life, let’s think of shifting to a better place first”. This..caution not ! because this is probably what keeps us from enjoying this day and believing that it could actually be the last. That flower doesn’t really mind blooming in your not so spacious balcony, it will, regardless and so should you. Thinking of joining the music class..go for it, photography workshop, yep definitely !

And when you are done lighting up your world, lift it up and shift, to a place higher, to a dream higher but with a sleep that’s warm enough to nourish your dream, with a wish to conquer a little more of this world but never with a regret of having tried too less.

Do not postpone your happiness for the sake of convenience, it’s a price too big to be paid in exchange for a comfort that is temporary.
