Not as many articles or quotes refer to it and not even as you ordinarily think of it to be, but just enough. Don’t just love yourself only to cheat a day from the diet plan or skip the work or maybe go shopping.
Love yourself enough to listen to your needs, to understand yourself. Love yourself to know, know that you are not just ‘procrastinating’ and then curse yourself for that but to know that you didn’t abandon it without any reason, there is something that stops you.
Take for example, a book you are struggling to complete since a long time and you feel shameful for not having even touched it ever since. Maybe that book doesn’t interest you so much, it really doesn’t have as much to offer as you have, your time and sole attention.
Going late for work ? insincere ? doesn’t value time ? No ! but maybe you don’t really have a better reason to do so or maybe the reason is not compelling enough.
It’s not like you should not change your toxic habits and continue with whatever feels fine even if that’s not right for you but just for a moment, stop, breath and ask yourself..WHY ? Why in the world do you want to do something and why the hell not ? Don’t wake up every morning just to carry the weight of your helplessness all through the day and hate yourself at the end of it. I agree a few situations have no escape but if you are have to do it anyway, at least accept it.
Because your mind is that stakeholder of your business who won’t back out as you appear to be losing but the one who always supports you but gets helpless on the decisions that are not supported by reason, the truthful and valid one.
Really nice buddy, itβs simply awesome
